The Mohammedan Saints

The Mohammedan Saints say, that the world’s existence and life is due to Shabd.

Shamas-i-Tabrez says:

The world came into being through ‘Saut’ (Shabd or Sound Principle); and from ‘Saut’ came all Light.

And Abdul Razaq Kashi explains:

The Great Name (Ism-i-azam) is the being and life of all names; its manifested form (Shabd) maintains the whole creation; It is the Great Ocean, in which we all appear as waves. Only he understands this secret, who belongs to our companionship.
