It is gratifying to know that a World Conference on the Unity of Man has been organised by Manav Kendra. In a world divided by differences of class, creed, nationality and various other social, economic and political barriers, there is need for emphasising the basic Unity of all mankind. The concept of one world may sound like an anachronism in these days of international tensions, built it is a concept to which humanity has turned time and again in times of stress and world wide unrest.

I wish the conference the success that it deserves.
