The Spiritual Revolution

When Kirpal Singh was asked, who would be His Spiritual Successor, He replied:

I wish you all to become ambassadors of Truth.

So, if we meet someone who has at least a clean causal body – Sadh –, we can naturally contact in His presence the Holy Sound Current.

The Master-Power never dies. He may leave the body, as anyone else does, but He is more than a mere body. He is an ideal, a living Sound Current or a Life Principle that gives Life and Light to the entire world – out of this it is said, that Kirpal Singh guides the souls of the sincere seekers after Truth within and His Gurmukhs and Khalsas are His ambassadors of Truth.

After His passing away one may derive benefit from the Satsang conducted by a Gurmukh Who is carrying on the duties of the Guru, and may consult Him in case he has some difficulty.

Inspite of the well-known and often-quoted dictum that Bani – Shabd or Word – is the Guru, implying thereby that there was no need of Gurus thereafter, the Gurus carried on the work of initiating people; and even today the Khalsa – Pure One – with perfect, resplendent Light within is authorised to carry on the work of Spiritual Instruction and guidance to seekers after Truth.

Kirpal Singh said:

So springtime is upon us now; there will be more fragrant Saints, I would say now, Who will come up and give us through the Grace of God, a contact with the God-into-Expression-Power. And this is the revolution, the Spiritual Revolution, which is coming up – an awakening all around.

And further:

After my physical departure I will not stand behind any organisation, founded in my name. If so, it will be their own destiny.

Bani – the Word or Sound Principle – is the Guru, and the Guru is Bani personified; the elixir of life emanates from Bani1.

Who ever accepts that, what is said by the Gurbani, may be liberated by the Grace of the Living Master.

_______________

Explanation: 1) There is a big difference between Gurbani and Bani. The former refers to the dictums of the Gurus, as they are bequeathed in the Holy Scriptures – especially in the Guru Granth Sahib –, whereas the latter terms the Eternal Sound Current, which is called Gur-ki-Bani at times and which vibrates in the whole creation. He emanates from God Himself, and God allein may manifest Him. Furthermore, this Bani – Naam or Word – sounds through all four yugas, ages, and It announces its message of Truth.
