Introduction

Those who are after God have no position in the world. They may be born in palaces or cottages. There is no difference.

Mira Bai was born a princess but she said,

Without the Dear One my home is a void. Does there dwell Someone Who can take me to the Lord? For such a One I will give my body and soul.¹

In a humble cobbler’s hut she found this treasure in the form of Saint Ravi Das.
