Warm greetings from Jaimal Singh to my obedient son, Babu Sawan Singh.

Dear son

I received your letter of 12 June, redirected from Agra, and was very happy to read it, but it says nothing about Bachint Singh. You should have written about him, my son. You are thinking of coming on leave.

It is very hot in Panjab, and also, in Asuj1 or Katik2, you will need to take leave for Basant Singh’s post-wedding ceremony. So apply for leave at this time only if you can get it for both occasions.

The bandhara at the Dera is going to be held on Thursday, the 29th of Asarh3, the full-moon day. So come if you can get leave.

I understand that Gursharan drinks too much milk and then, unable to digest it all, throws it up. Try to give him some other, more agreeable milk.

Best wishes to all the Satsangis, including both the Bibi Jis. All should do their Bhajan and Simran every day. Best wishes from Bibi and all the Sadhus here.
