From Jaimal Singh: My Love to my obedient son, Babu Sawan Singh, and to Babu Hari Ram, Babu Gajja Singh, Chanan Singh, and Basant Singh.

May the Grace and Mercy of the compassionate Hazur be upon everyone.

I received your postcard and was very happy to read it. The invoice for the tarpaulins was received, and all six have been collected from the railway station. The brick contractor was given an advance. That was twelve days ago, but he has not yet shown up. I hear that his men are making bricks elsewhere and that they will be here in eight days.

Please keep doing Bhajan and Simran every day for whatever time the mind remains attached to the Shabd Dhun and the soul hears and enjoys its bliss. Then even a minute or two, or five, are sufficient, and the task is done. Have firm faith; the worldly obligations you are fulfilling are all essentially spiritual. Do not allow the self to intrude; everything is the Satguru’s work.

Warm regards from Bibi to you, her dear brother. Please convey best wishes from Bibi Ji to everyone else at your place, and also from the Subedar and all others at the Dera. This letter was written in Urdu because of lack of time.
