Lots of Love from Jaimal Singh to my obedient son, Babu Sawan Singh.

May the Grace and Mercy of the compassionate Anami Lord, the Merciful, always be upon you.

Your letter was received and I was very happy to read it. The five small rooms have now been built up to shoulder height; six masons are working on them. You were in danger of fever at this time. The command was for a serious illness, but the gracious, compassionate Hazur has been merciful to my pleading at His Lotus Feet to please end your suffering soon. So with His Grace and Mercy you have been forgiven. To avoid sending money frequently, you may please send 200 rupees upon receiving this postcard. Everyone's wages remain to be paid. I will write later and give the full details – this has been written in a hurry. Later on I shall reply to your entire letter.

Do your Bhajan and Simran every day, my son, and send your letters promptly, even if you write very little. Please convey my greetings to Babu Hari Ram, to both Bibi Jis, to Gursharan, Babu Gulab Singh, Chanan Singh, Narain Singh, and Diwan Singh. Warmest greetings from Bibi to you, her dear brother; also warm regards to everyone else. Whatever you said will be done. I am very happy and pleased with you, my son.
