Best wishes from Jaimal Singh to my obedient son, Babu Sawan Singh, and to Babu Hari Ram, Babu Gajja Singh, Basant Singh, Malik Thakar Das Ji, Amar Singh, and the younger Bibi Ji.

May the Grace and Mercy of the Anami Lord, always be upon all of you.

I have received your two letters and am very happy to read them and know their contents. Of course I am always ready to go to Agra. Whenever he wills it, I am ready. We will definitely go there, my son, but when it is His will.

About the brick-kiln, I wrote to you earlier that water is not yet available. We will get water in Phagun, at which time the kiln will be stacked. If it rains earlier, we will start making bricks right away. There is no other delay. Chanan Singh left here on 7 November. He had asked to be allowed to stay at the Dera for two or three months to do seva – he has done very good seva here – and I was agreeable to that, but you also could not do without him, so he should now stay with you – that is doing my seva. Whenever he requests permission to come to the Dera, you should give it; he can have darshan and then return. Handle this whichever way he remains happy. By all means let him do Spiritual Work if he so desires. You are to attend to your meditation every day. When you persevere in this practice, His Grace will surely descend upon you one day. Keep lying before His door, my son; you may be called anytime. Hasty work is Satan’s work.

Moreover, the Shabd Dhun is the very essence of the Anami Lord, and it is resounding within you all the time. When it pleases Him to merge the soul within Himself, He will do so in an instant. When the soul is as pure as the Shabd Dhun, there won’t be even a moment’s delay. Ever since the material world was created the mind and soul have been gathering dirt. Never for a spell of ten or twenty years has the soul been fixed in the Shabd Dhun for seven or eight hours. How can it then find a place in the Dhun so soon? Until the soul has intense longing for the Dhun night and day, how can it merge into the Dhun? Submit yourself and practise daily the technique imparted to you, because the Shabd Dhun Guru is anxious to purify your soul and mind without delay. He showers such Grace and Mercy that not even for a moment does He forget the time when the soul that He has awakened through the Shabd Dhun will become pure so that by merging it within His Shabd Dhun form He can take it to Sach Khand.

So ask for the Guru’s refuge, and love His Lotus Feet. Whenever you beg for something, my son, beg for the Holy Feet of the Satguru. When the higher mind and the soul forge an Inner Union with the Satguru’s Holy Feet, the Shabd Dhun merges them both within itself. Surely one day you will join me, my son. The Satguru’s Holy Feet are in Sach Khand; you will definitely reach there. Do not be afraid – there are no more births now.
