Lots of Love from Jaimal Singh to my obedient son, Babu Sawan Singh.

May the Grace and Mercy of the compassionate Anami Lord always be upon you, my son.

Your letter has arrived, giving me all your news. I am glad to know that you are well and happy.

You are not to worry; the Lord Himself is the doer of everything. Let me know when your new officer arrives. If free, I will then come and stay at Khairagali for four or five days, provided you feel at ease with the arrival of the new officer. Regarding the money, I will write to you later as to when you may send it.

Please do not do so now, because I intend to visit you after you write about the arrival of the new officer. Also, by then it will be cool enough to travel by train. I am definitely of a mind to come – the rest is up to the will of Hazur Swami Ji. My son, please do not send any money; do so when I write to you.

Please convey my best wishes to Chanan Singh and ask him why he wishes to go back home. He should write to me in detail. I may allow him to go home after I see how desperate his need is. He is definitely not to leave now. When I come I will look into his situation and tell him if he may go. Please let him know this His mind is wavering because there is a hardship hanging over him. It will be dispelled by the Grace and Mercy of the compassionate Hazur; that is, he will be forgiven. He should do his Bhajan and Simran every day. Please keep me informed about Chanan Singh.

Continue with your Bhajan and Simran every day whenever you are free. At work or moving about or sitting around, keep your thoughts fixed in Simran all the time; always from everyone, and from you, at all times, Simran is accepted at the court of Hazur. Listen to the Shabd Dhun and remember that whether or not your mind is in it, or scarcely feels for it, your effort at all times will be acceptable. This was my supplication to the compassionate Hazur. You are not to worry; one day He will merge your soul in the Shabd Dhun and take it to Sach Khand. Believe this firmly, my son: He is Himself carrying out all the affairs of the world by being in it. Everything that He does is for our good.

Please convey my best wishes to Babu Hari Ram, Babu Mohan Singh, Basant Singh, to the elder and younger Bibi Jis, and to all the other Satsangis there. May the compassionate Swami Ji always bless all of you. Warm regards from Bibi to you, her dear brother, to the family, to the other Satsangis, and to the Satsangi sisters.

All of you are urged to engage in Bhajan and Simran every day. You will receive whatever you wish. Everything is secondary to Bhajan. Where there is Bhajan, all other things will come automatically. Make room for the current of the Shabd Dhun within your mind, and then experience its bliss.

Please accept best wishes from Sukhdayal Singh and all the other Satsangis at the Dera. From Mehmansinghwala, Bhai Dasaundha Singh has written that Pandit Ji had gone to Agra and brought back the boob from Rai Sahib Saligram Ji. So far Pritam Singh has not come here either. He wrote a postcard saying that he would be going via Dera to see his dear brother, but nothing has been heard since then.
