Sri Wahiguru Ji ki Fateh from Jaimal Singh to my obedient son, Babu Sawan Singh.

May the Grace and Mercy of the compassionate Hazur be upon you all the time, my son.

Your two letters arrived here on the same day with the news of your health; my heart is full of joy to know that the merciful Hazur has showered His Grace on you.

His Grace was always there, but this was His will. You will become strong.

Dukh kee gharee ganeemat jaano,

Look upon the hour of pain as a blessing

as pain or pleasure comes from the Lord Himself. Since it comes by His command, why should we treat it as bad? The Lord, ever present, always watches over us, and if our good lies in suffering He sends us suffering, if it lies in happiness He sends us happiness. Both, beloved son, are within His will. So now you are not to have any worry; the suffering will come to an end very soon.

When the body forms in the mother’s womb through the union of the mother’s ovum and the father’s sperm, it develops there for three months in the heat of the primal fire. The inert being keeps lying there on one side – the bones in the body come from the father’s seed; they have 1600 bonds and joints. The being continues to lie on one side for three months – ninety days – as the bones are formed and tempered by the torrid heat of the primal fire. The pain and suffering endured at that time cannot be described. But a blessing also reaches there: with each breath, the being remembers the Lord and cries out:

Save me, save me! Mercy! Mercy! I have no one.

His absolute trust rests in the Lord, and no harm comes to him there because of the Power of Naam.

The body’s flesh comes from the mother’s blood; it has formed through baking. Outside the womb then, whenever a bone is broken, it will join together if the individual stays motionless in the same way. So have no worry – at this stage there is not that much pain.

Do your Bhajan and Simran.

If the attention gets distracted, bring it back again. Nothing except Bhajan and Simran can eliminate suffering. The Lord is pleased with you in every way, so you are not to have any worry. When a bone in the body breaks, it repairs itself in three months by joining together – and yours will heal quite rapidly.

The news about the brick-kiln: 100,000 bricks are now baked and ready; the heat in the kiln will die down substantially in a couple of months. The construction of the well has started – we were only waiting for the bricks. The cost of the bricks came to 350 rupees. We will give out the contract as soon as I return from your place. The firing of the bricks has come out well: a couple were pulled out and found to be nicely baked.

Lambardar Dasaundha Singh and the Satsangis here wish you Wahiguru Ji ki Fateh. You write that you did not inform the people at home about your injury. I was also of the opinion that such news should not be sent to them. So you have done well.

I had left a book for reading at Mehmansinghwala when you were visiting your home. So far no one has come from there. Anoop Singh did come here once, in the month of Phagun1, and stayed for four or five days, after which he left for Amritsar to visit Basant Singh before returning home. No news has come from him since then.

Please accept best wishes from Bibi and convey Ram Ram to Hari Ram.
