From Jaimal Singh: Sri Wahiguru Ji ki Fateh and warm regards to both my obedient sons, Babu Sawan Singh Ji and Pritam Singh Ji.

May the Grace and Mercy of the compassionate Hazur always be upon you.

I received your letter and was very happy to read it and know of your well-being. About the well, all the Satsangis here have decided that the expense of the well should be shared by everyone, and they are now getting ready to sink it.

You write that you will get leave and come in December. I am very happy and gratified to know this.

But ten days must be spent at Beas in Spiritual Practice, abhyasa – of course, it should be done every day as well. As the physical body gets more involved in outside pursuits, the mind should be kept absorbed in Simran. Listen to the Shabd Dhun every day – even if you do it only for ten minutes, it should be done every day. And understand undoubtingly that one day the Satguru will take you to Sach Khand. Read daily from the Sacred Writings, even if you read only one verse. And whatever work you do, believe in your heart that the Satguru is doing it all:

I am not doing anything. Worldly or Spiritual Work, all is the Satguru’s. I am nothing; you are everything.

Then the Satguru alone will be all-in-all.

A postcard from Pritam Singh has come in which he says that he does his Bhajan and Simran regularly, but that I have never written a letter to him. But I always mention Pritam Singh in every letter or postcard. How far does he live from you? I am very happy and pleased with him. He should do his meditation daily and listen regularly to the Shabd Dhun every day.

Best wishes from Bibi to her brother, Babu Sawan Singh, and to Pritam Singh. She has sent a rakhi and also some parshad1 for her brother, Babu Sawan Singh – the parshad is from the bandhara held at Agra during the full moon. Warm regards from Dasaundha Singh also, and from all the Satsangis here as well.

Have no apprehension, my son, the Satguru will take you to Sach Khand after finishing all your worldly affairs. Now you will not have to take birth again, but will stay above Sahasdal Kanwal – there will be no more coming below that region.

I could find no one to write this in Urdu. This letter contains some parshad. Do not be in a hurry and scatter it – open it carefully.
