From Jaimal Singh to my obedient son, Babu Sawan Singh and to Babu Hari Ram, Babu Mohan Singh, Chanan Singh, Basant Singh Kaka Ram, Gali Ram, the elder Bibi Ji, and the younger Bibi Ji – warm regards to everyone.

May the Grace and Mercy of the compassionate Anami Lord always be on all of you.

Your letter has been received and given me your news. I am delighted to read that you are all well and happy. It was a very well-written letter: whatever heartfelt requests you have made at the Lotus Feet of the compassionate Hazur have all been accepted at His court. All the bonds of worldly hopes and desires and the pains and pleasures of the past twenty-one lives are cast aside once one has the darshan of a Perfect Satguru.

When the Perfect Satguru, out of His Grace and Mercy, bestows the gift of Naam, the Shabd Dhun, that very moment the karmic record of birth and death with the lord of justice is torn up and the cycle of eighty-four terminated; and when the individual’s faith in the Satguru gets to be absolutely firm, he becomes a resident of Sach Khand.

As yet, however, the mind is soiled, and the worldly account of debit and credit is still to be settled. The mind, still soiled, yearns for the false things of the world. As the disciple develops full faith, Love and devotion for the Satguru and does not look upon any of His actions as merely human; does not do anything outside the Satguru’s teachings, but keeps His image continuously in the mind and attention, and listens daily to the Shabd Dhun – the Satguru, severing all the earthly ties of that disciple, one day takes him to Sach Khand, his Home and True Residence.

Slowly and steadily, in this very body, the Satguru cuts away all the karmas and everything that has to be settled with others, including the karmic account of the past twenty-one lives, and then takes the disciple to Sach Khand by merging him in the Shabd Dhun. But other than the Satguru’s Holy Feet, the disciple should not have faith in anything. Then consider such a disciple to be already in Sach Khand. He who has Love and faith in the Perfect Satguru, who does not transgress the Satguru’s instructions, and in whose Inner Mind the Love for the Creator has firmly taken root – never allowing any other thought to enter his mind – such a one will be merged in the Dhun and taken up at once by the Satguru Himself.

It does not matter, my son, if Pritam Singh has gone away. It was his own decision; you didn’t say anything unpleasant to him. Bibi has been asking whether or not you have eaten the mung preparation – moongi. Do write about this as well.

Please convey my Wahiguru Ji ki Fateh to Bishen Singh. You have written that your project will be completed by 10 December. Well, wherever the compassionate Hazur keeps you will be good for you. Understand this absolutely, my son: you are to listen daily to the Shabd Dhun by attaching your mind to it with Love and devotion. I am very pleased and happy with you. Best wishes from Bibi to you, her dear brother, and to all the other Satsangis; also best wishes from Bibi to the elder and younger Bibis. This letter has been delayed because I was absent from the Dera. I had gone to Majha, from where I returned after fourteen days. I am now back at the Dera.

You are not to worry at all; please continue with your Bhajan. You will one day reach Sach Khand; there will be no more births now.

Please accept warm regards from all the Satsangis at the Dera.

Dasaundha Singh the priest has written a letter from Mehmansinghwala, in which he says:

I have not agreed to any salary. I am doing Bhajan. Kindly shower your Grace on me.

To this I have not yet sent a reply.
