The Naam is the Link, connecting us with the Lord
The current of Naam pervades the entire universe and sustains all. This body is a small representation of the universe and the Naam pervades and sustains it also. We are connected with the Lord through this current and the connection is unbreakable. This current is flowing from the head downwards. Just as a fish swims up a stream against its flow, similarly the soul with the help of the current of Naam rises up and reaches the source of Naam. This Path is sometimes described as the Reverse Path. All other paths are worldly ones.
He whose mind is attuned to the Naam, alone knows the immaculate One, oh Nanak.
